Dear creator,

Hello! I'm timbre, on AO3 as, well, timbre. First off, thank you for creating for me (or considering it)!

Generally speaking, I love everything I request equally, and as long as the gift doesn't include any of my DNWs, I will be thrilled to receive it! I'm always open to art treats for any of my requests, even for ones that I'm not requesting art for. Also, if something isn't in my DNWs, consider me as opting into it. Yes, even that.

This is a generic exchange letter listing my general likes, smut likes, art likes, and DNWs all in one convenient place. It also contains a list of ships and characters you can expect to see me requesting, and some thoughts/prompts.

This letter is also an open invitation to talk to me about any of my favorite fandoms/ships--feel free to send me a DM here on DW or on Twitter or Tumblr.

Likes/DNWs

General Likes:

• Anything that plays with canon. Canon-divergent AUs, scenes set pre- or post-canon, missing scenes, “what if x had gone slightly differently and everything changed.”
• Character and relationship studies, stream of consciousness from a character’s perspective, second person, smut that reveals things about the characters/relationship
• Dysfunctional relationships, codependent relationships. Power imbalances. Characters being unable to differentiate between different strong emotions, resulting in inappropriate feelings for a family member or enemy/rival. Physical fights leading to sex or intimacy. Possessiveness, obsessiveness, and jealousy. 
• First times. First kiss, first time having sex, first time realizing feelings, first time domming/subbing, first time with a person of the same sex, first time experimenting with a kink or act.
• Guilt, shame, and repressed characters. Guilt over immoral or illegal desires. Guilt over wanting a relationship with a family member. One character thinking they’re corrupting/ruining the other and feeling horrible about it while the other is having the time of their life. Characters repressing their desire to sub (or dom) until they can’t anymore. Angst in general is great too.
• Time shenanigans. Time loops: the part where the looper breaks and stops giving any fucks, loops only broken by sex, loops only broken by romantic confession, loops only broken when the looper finally snaps and does something they regret, loops where the character makes everything progressively worse. Time travel: meeting younger (or older) self/love interest and making bad choices with them (which may or may not lead to fucking up the timeline). I love darker takes on time related tropes. 
• AUs that add an element to canon. Daemon AUs: I love the intimacy of daemon touching (and the taboo of it). Wing AUs: I love wing touching and grooming, as well as wing oil/scent gland kink. I enjoy AUs that explore dynamics between characters with wings and those without, or between different kinds of wing-havers. Feel free to combine with A/B/O or D/s like dynamics. A/B/O AUs. Werewolf/vampire/succubus/etc AUs. Rule 63.
• Pining. Character thinking their feelings will never be reciprocated. Undercover as a couple, fake dating, undercover to a sex/BDSM club. Sharing a bed. Trapped in a small space together. 
• Bodyswaps and bodysharing. Pursuing a third party while sharing a body. One character instructing the other in masturbation while bodysharing. Characters bodyswapped to the opposite sex and exploring that. Bodyswap that’s only reversed when the characters have sex/get together.
• Horror, particularly psychological horror and environmental horror.

Smut likes:

• Unconventional positions. Intercrural, tit fucking, grinding, coming in pants. Clothed sex. Face-sitting. 69. Foot/leg humping. Strap-on blowjobs. Mutual masturbation and watching someone masturbate. Cunnilingus, fingerfucking. Fingering someone’s mouth. Strap-ons, including magical or high-tech ones that let the wearer feel sensations.
• Characters exploring kinks. Characters subbing (or domming) for the first time and loving it. Characters discovering a kink at an inopportune moment. Characters using sex (or domming/subbing) as a coping mechanism, healthy or not. 
• Petplay. Puppyplay or kittenplay particularly. Collars, muzzles, leashes. Being made to stay on all fours, eat out of their owner’s hand, hump their leg. Barking/meowing and other animalistic behaviors. Tail butt plugs. Paw gloves. I like this both consensual and forced, though I prefer if the victim is shamefully enjoying it deep down. Dirty talk that refers to the sub as an animal—”good puppy,” “bad dog,” “who’s my sweet kitten,” etc..
• Dirty talk. Both degradation and praise are great, as well as degrading praise and anything else in between. I love when the sub is forced to beg, and/or talk dirty about themself. • Desperation—the orgasm denial kind. Characters being edged for hours or days. Characters getting teased and blue-balled. Character being forced to beg or degrade themself to come. Character having to make their partner come before they can too. 
• Dubious consent. “[Blank] made them do it” scenarios. Sex pollen or aphrodisiacs, where either one or both are affected. Questionable consent due to intoxication or drugs. Mind control/hypnosis or coercion, fantastical or not. Under- or unnegotiated kinks. “Consensual but not safe or sane.”
• Daddy/mommy kink, especially between siblings or characters with a complicated relationship with their real parents. 
• Somnophilia, both consensual and noncon. Being woken up on the brink of orgasm. Somno that results in the receiver having wet dreams. Fucking a partner until they pass out and still not stopping. 
• Under- and unnegotiated BDSM and D/s and kinks. Femdom. Breathplay. Unexpected choking that the receiver is shockingly into. Boot/footgear worship and leg humping. • Characters reimagined as animals, furries/anthros, Pokemon, supernatural beings, Gods, or dragons.

• Characters interacting with animals. Adopting a pet together. Daemon AUs. 
• Fusions or crossovers between my requested fandom and any fandoms I’ve requested in the past. 
• Symbolic or semi-abstract art based on motifs/themes present in the canon. 

DNWs:

• Rimming, fisting. Anal in general if a female character is the recipient (men being pegged is fine). 
• Pregnancy and kidfic. For canons where the characters I’m requesting have kids, it’s fine to mention them, just avoid making them a focus. 
• Explicit sexual content with a character below 10 years old.
• Scat. Piss drinking. Piss in other contexts is fine, as are other bodily fluids.
• Trans headcanons (trans characters for OW requests are fine). Asexual or aromantic characters or headcanons.
• 1st person (2nd is fine).
• Unrequested pairings being a main focus. 
• Femsub—this applies to F/M ships only. PIV sex is fine as long as the woman acts more dominant and/or remains in control of the situation. 
• Canon female characters being genderbent to male. Vice versa is welcome though.
• AUs where characters who are related or consider each other family no longer do so (unless in temporary circumstances due to identity porn or amnesia).

Fandoms, Characters, and Relationships

Arcane: League of Legends

• Favorite Characters: Powder/Jinx, Vi, Sevika

• Generally speaking, I'm not a huge fan of modern AUs/setting change AUs for most of my canons, but honestly Arcane is an exception. I love these characters and ships a lot and I love seeing how people adapt their dynamics and story to different settings.
• I'm not a fan of Cait/Vi or Caitlyn in general, but I don't mind if her or her relationship with Vi is used as a point of conflict in Jinx/Vi or Powder/Vi fic.

The Boys

• Favorite Characters: HOMELANDER. Homelander, Homelander, Homelander.
• Favorite Relationships: Homelander/Madelyn Stillwell, Homelander/Any Female Character, Homelander/Homelander, Homelander/Ryan Butcher

• I feel like this canon would pair particularly well with an AU where succubi exist. I'd love to see succubus!Addison or succubus!Meredith, or maybe even succubus!Lexie!

• I love any of these dynamics combined with one party being underage.
• I typically DNW trans headcanons but I'm fine with trans OCs for OW. I'm also fine with futanari characters or magical cock scenarios.

• Honestly, I ship Spencer a little bit with pretty much every female character on the show, but Spencer/Mona and Spencer/Melissa are closest to my heart.
• I don't like Alison ships unless it's Alison/Spencer pre-disappearance and it's really manipulative and non/dubconny.
